Filmmaker Natasha Pincus taught law for five years to fund her filmmaking. The music video for “Somebody That I Used To Know” by Gotye was shot on the Canon 5DmkII using both stills and video functions by d.p. Warwick Field.

Body painting took 7 hours per person, and it was filmed stop-motion style. I gather the shoot was done in one 26-hour gulp after several months of preparation. The video had to be shot entirely out of order to make some of the effects work.
