Natural Victims: Day Two
In an improvisational movie, it's not just the actors that are improvising...
The bad news, which I woke up early to read on my email, is that Drew, one of the three main actors, booked a Goodyear commercial in Anaheim. For three days. Starting today.
The good news is, because this movie is so loose and improvised, we are able to roll with it. This schedule change made the story decision that Drew's character, "Carter," will become separated from Mike ("Billy") and Amy ("Angela").
So, after a bagel breakfast, Mike, Amy, Lillian, our crewmember du jour (the unstoppable Jon Chang), and I all drove to a different location and shot some Mike & Amy individual stuff, with a special guest appearance by none other than Ukelilli.
It's an incredibly beautiful day today, even by Los Angeles standards. I'm glad I got to enjoy the morning, since I'm probably going to spend the rest of it indoors, editing. Or talking to my friends to see what else we can improvise for Monday and Tuesday -- two days that are suddenly wide open. I'd hate to see the equipment go to waste.
