Natural Victims: Day Four – Music Break

Lillian Parker, aka Ukelilli, recording the soundtrack to indie movie Natural VictimsPlans to shoot another commercial fell through, so I spent today doing boring post work and exciting post work.

The exciting bit is courtesy of the lovely Ukelilli, who has composed a theme song for the movie -- titled "Natural Victims," natch. With the help of Ryan Allen (a musical talent in his own right, under the name IMUR, or Inter-Musical Undulating Reticulum) at the ProTools console, she recorded the theme song as well as several tracks that I'm going to use for the score.

Ryan is going to work on mixing them tomorrow, so hopefully I'll be able to upload a few to share with you soon.

After the recording session, we all went to Tomo Sushi in downtown Burbank. Tomo has a tradition of affixing decorated dollar bills to the wall. I took advantage and bought the movie's very first advertisement to commemorate the occasion...
