Here are some early drafts of title cards for the credits of my short film ‘Stull’, created in Photoshop.

I also created the rolling credits file in Photoshop, for animation in After Effects (to give it that nice motion blur). Unfortunately, somewhere in the communication between After Effects and Photoshop it kept corrupting the file. I would make backups and then the backups would get corrupted. I had an After Effects wiz helping me, and he got me to a good point Wednesday night and left. Of course immediately after that I got the corruption again. Aaargh!

Thankfully, he was able to help me again last night, and the final credits scroll was completed. (It looks a bit jerky as compressed below, but the full HD version looks very nice.)

Now I’m ready to move on to making subtitles for the film. If you have language skills and would like to translate a very brief script in return for a free copy of the movie on DVD with your subtitles, contact me at makingthemovie AT gmail D0T com. You can also choose to be credited at the end of the subtitles.
