Free Textures

Creative Commons LicenseFilmmakers, especially for 3D animation or post design, often need recourse to texture photos. There are lots of great free texture websites on the internet, and I've made use of many of them. I've also found it difficult to find certain textures that I've needed, so I've had to create my own.

In the spirit of other sites that share free textures, I'm making them available here under a Creative Commons Attribution-Only License. That essentially means you are free to use them, without asking me, for whatever personal purpose -- commercial, non-profit, re-mixing -- so long as you credit 'J. Ott, www.makingthemovie.info'. This applies only for the below images, not every image on the site of course.
