SUSPENSION was filmed locally in Lawrence, Topeka, and Kansas City,
and directed by Lawrence-born filmmakers Ethan Shaftel and Alec Joler.

Suspension might just be the next Primer, an indie sci-fi movie that digs as deep into the characters as the science. It tells the story of Daniel (Scott Cordes), a man who loses his family in a car accident. Shortly thereafter, he discovers that he has the ability to stop time. But since he can't turn time back, only stop it, his grief leads him to latch onto Sarah (Annie Tedesco), a newlywed who lost her husband in the same car accident. With the almost omnipotent power of stopping time, he can make her life perfect. Or can he?

Suspension features great performances, incredible special effects and a brilliant sound design that will make you believe time has truly been stopped.
