This Just In: FOX and Apple Collude to Give Consumers Their Legal RIghts Back
Figuring waiting till 2008 would've been even more of a laugh, Fox and Apple are going allow you to make legal backups of your movies from DVD that you can play on your iPod or iPhone. Nevermind that we should've been able to do this all along, and have been thwarted by anti-trust collusion. Don't celebrate yet. The DVDs will still have a form of anti-consumer technology called FairPlay to make sure the big companies know what you're doing with their media.
