One Stupid Film

This is for a good cause. But it sounds like the lamest movie ever:

There are 24 frames in one second of film. Our 1 second of animation consists of 12 giant frames. Each frame is a large painting that was created simultaneously by hundreds of participants during a collaborative event. The event was held at CalArts on March 8, 2001 (International Women's Day). The 12 finished paintings will each be filmed twice on 70mm to create the 24 frames in one-second of animation. Our film is financed independently by thousands of producers who donate $1 or more. Our producers will be listed in our credits in the order of amount donated... Our end-credits are esitmated to last an astounding 90-minutes and will include a feature-length open-source 'making of' documentary that our producers can help create. Once completed, all profits raised will be donated to the Global Fund for Women, a non-profit grant-making organization that supports women's human rights around the world.
