Michael Apted on the 7 Up series and his early films

I've been watching the Up documentary series on DVD over the last few weeks. I disagree with the filmmaker about what it demonstrates:

I think that there is some innate personality that never changes. If you're an introvert at seven, you're likely to still be one and vice versa.

I think the changes that happen to the subjects between the ages of 7 and 35 are remarkable. Some people do indeed go from introverted to extroverted. As I see it, anyway.
