Night shoots taking their toll.

I had a post planned for Day 12 about how keeping things light on set helps the shoot go smoother. It was the first of the night shoots. James McDaniels was in a cheerful mood, joking around, keeping the crew entertained. We made our day and it was still dark when I got home.

Not so last night, which was rather mirthless. We were scrambling, running low on film, broke two hours late for lunch, and tension seemed to be much higher. We did, however, get eight six and one-fourth pages shot in one day.

I didn’t hit the hay until 8 am. Pictures forthcoming, but I have to run for today’s calltime. Tonight is the day we’ve all been waiting for: we’re gonna blow stuff up!
