Why a box of stars?

Starbox Pictures is an independent film company embarking on our first feature film project, "Suicide Squad," which is slated to begin production in February 2006.

Our goal with boxofstars.com is to raise $50,000 to produce our movie.

What's with the stars?

Stars are representative of the creative process -- brilliant flashes of light created from the basic elements of the universe.

Loose ideas are the metaphoric equivalent of interstellar gas and dust floating through space. When concentrated with intent and determination, they fuse together to create massive amounts of energy, light, and heat.

Through the fusion of ideas, "Suicide Squad" was born. It is the center of the Starbox Universe.

Through your support, we will fill our box of stars, and our project will move from concept to reality. It is the creation of matter from nothingness.

The molecular dust and gases are in place. Our script, cast, and crew are poised for the Big Bang.

What do I get from my star?

When you purchase a star, you can customize it to point to your Web site or to send a message of your chosing into the universe. Advertise your business Web site, send a personal greeting, or send a prayer into cyberspace. The choice is yours.

When you buy a star, we place your star in our box with a link to your Web site or personal message. Visitors to the boxofstars Web site are presented with a box of stars that link to your Web sites or messages.

We thank you for your support and will credit every box of stars contributor in our film.
