Clerks 2 Teaser Online

Right after he made Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Kevin Smith announced that it would be the final movie set in his vulgar, logorrheic View Askewniverse -- a fictional land first introduced in the low budget wage-slave comedy Clerks. Off he marched to make his 'more adult-oriented movie' Jersey Girl, with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. Lo, his next project: Clerks2.

UPDATE: The debate about whether Clerks II will suck rages across the internet:

It’s just possible that Kevin Smith is up to something more than just revisiting a hot property. The trailer of Clerks II can now be found, and when one considers the deliberately ugly cinematography, the moribund tone, and the terrible transition of the characters from clerks to fast food, this looks like it might be a scathing indictment of the service sector industry — perhaps a warning to thirtysomethings that they must take control of their lives before it’s too late.

Comment by jerimand:
Or the ugly cinematography wasn’t deliberate but due to his lack of skills, and the film is actually an intentional indictment of fat one-trick ponies who write crass, tin-eared dialogue and direct static scenes.
