RitM: Rough Cut Rules!

I finally had time a few days ago to sit down with a notepad and the first rough cut of Rain in the Mountains. I'm happy to report that my notepad had a sparse few notes. I'm hardly an impartial observer, but already it is clear that this movie is funny, original, dramatic and heartwarming. In short, it rules.

The editing will continue, of course. I've already gotten emails from Joel and Christine listing several things that have changed from the rough cut I saw. They are also starting in to the sound editing, which can be a long, tedious process. But at this mile marker, at least, sunny skies are visible ahead.
