RitM: First Hurdle Cleared, Eight Thousand to Go

Just got an email from Joel:

Yes, it's true, we have finished the initial rough cut of the film. Without beginning and end titles, it clocks in at 98 minutes... and even better, I think it actually kicks [butt].

For those keeping track of the technical aspects, there have been some additions to the workflow:

A huge Sony PCM7030 Dat player takes up half of the desk now, there's a backup LaCie disk under the desk, and a blackburst generator for genlock also takes up way too much space. Hopefully, we won't be needing many more pieces than that.
