Empty Acre, Full Immersion

My friend Patrick has a new trailer online for his chiller thriller The Empty Acre. It's about a patch of land where nothing will grow -- and it's spreading... (perhaps causing sickness, even the disappearance of a baby).

I'm not sure what the budget was, but I know he had to be clever to get those shots. The helicopter shot at the beginning, particularly, was a real coup. They got a local news chopper to take them up.

Like any good making of a movie, the whole thing is being blogged, and from multiple perspectives.

UPDATE 5/26/06: The Empty Acre gets a great review.
