V for Vendetta, the latest Wachowski Bros. movie, starring Natalie Portman, features the blowing up of the Parliament building in London. It was scheduled for release in the UK & USA in early November.
I haven’t heard anything, so I’m only speculating based on the fact that several movies with sensitive footage or themes were postponed after 9/11, like Collateral Damage.
Should they postpone it? That’s really for Londoners to decide. I know after 9/11 I didn’t want to see movies about people in burning buildings. But I didn’t want them to scrub the Twin Towers out of Spiderman either.
