Ten Manipulations: Back in Biz-snazz

We gonna have a party!

Keep open Friday and Saturday night next week (the 10th & 11th) because one of those nights will be a fundraising party for none other than soon-to-be-major-motion-picture TEN MANIPULATIONS. Just TEN dollars will allow infinite MANIPULATIONS of your brain via all the alcohol you care to consume!

We did the math and we figure if we can get 75+ people out, we can raise the money we need to incorporate. So come on out. Details will be coming shortly, as soon as we're firm on the space and time. Likely Brooklyn circa TEN pm Friday at Red Humor Salon, if you're itching to excercise your Blackberry.

Highly productive meeting with Ernest tonight. Not only did we plan this fundraiser, Ernest also brought news of renewed interest from both a director and producer we've been pursuing for a while now. People are busy, then they're not busy. Hopefully these guys will stay not busy long enough to get busy with TEN MANIPULATIONS.

We moved to a Starbucks so Ernest could get re-caffeinated. While there, Brandon, fresh outta rehearsal, called in. We filled him in on the party plans and will fill him on the budget projections we did, the fundraising research and the producer/director developments that came out of tonight's meeting. All in all, I'm very pleased -- plus incited to finish draft 9. I've sketched out most of what needs to happen on the back half already. After this party, we'll have a script meeting and hash out the details together. Then I'll type it up. Booyakashah!

So maybe I will get some of the things I wished for this Christmas!
